Here is the big reveal of the badguys in the Zero Issue of MONSTROIDS!!!! Coming this summer from APE ENTERTAINMENT. These are the colors, I was told that the Monstroids shouldn't fight anything that is cyborg/machine made so when it came time to design the badguys.. the ZYRONITES I thought what would be cool... for an 8 yr old.. hmmmm BUGS! and.. mmmm...ummm.... SWORDS!! So I made Japanese Samurai BUGS!! Dieog did a fantastic job on colors.. as always

Wow.. that's crazy, yeah I was sitting in my car at the time, cause I had a 2hr commute, thinking.. "The script calls for aliens"... hmm.... thye had an original design that looked like shaved trolls in spandex... but I threw that out lol. So I figured I'd give them swords... and I thought BIGS, kids like bugs so... Bugs with swords... then I remember the Japanese collect beetles... and then... Samurai Beetles from outer space. lmao... really thats how I concept, then I go draw it , get ref pics of samurai armor and whatnot. Keep up the art looks cool
