Description
Ralph Matheson is the son of a scientist charged with working on a quantum powered tool. A replica that was supposed to be unveiled at a tech gala was unwittingly (or not?) replaced by the real thing-- which ended up in Ralph's hands for a photo opportunity. Without realizing, the young man's fingers slipped over the on switch, and he was bombarded with a jolt of energy.

That was all he needed for his body to feel changed, and empowered. Waking up in the morning to find himself a fraction of his regular size, he panicked-- and grew.

EDIT: Finally took the time to correct and update this reference, replacing the classic pics with renders of the regular costume. Also, the kid has eyebrows.
