Hi all, Here is my new piece for the beginning of 2015. Hopefully it shows you my progression of quality now im under the business name of Drawn to Fantasy.

The pencil work took the longest time for me, i actually drew this by hand 1st then scanned it in and redrew it. The coloring was maybe 10-13 hours. For me this was a big piece having not really done many backgrounds in my works and it went through several changes over the course, I didn't even plan on doing the trees but in the end i was happy i did.

Originally Aurelia was in a different stance sort of crouching and the head was higher. But i when i started to finish the pencil work it wasn't 100%. So i changed it and made her sitting so the piece looked more relaxed.

When i 1st drew it on paper the plan was to have no background other then a clear blue sky zoomed further back on a hilltop. Then i started playing around with hills which was working ok then shapes started to come to life the further i kept at it. Most of the background was done in 5 hours and alot of it was redone today

I will be uploading a work in progress on this one so you can see what i mean about the background changes etc..
