There is serious anatomy issues going on in this piece. Look at her left shoulder area. Her face is oddly shaped and expressed. Also the hair off of the right arm is inconsistent. Her hands and feet are far too large, which may have been acceptable if the style of art warranted it. Her body pose is also extremely awkward. The background is nice and I like the Japanese writing but the mars symbol is lost in the complexity.
I hate to be a downer on this as I can see great ideas. However a bit more thought should have been given to the piece before it was completed. Also in comparison to the other Sailor Scout image shown, the flaws of this piece are quite apparent.

The lineart was not done by me, the lineart was done by my friend. I'm sorry if that wasn't clear in the description where I spelled that out.

Did you really reject my critique as 'useless'?!?
Wow.
Good luck then on your future critiques.

There are just some serious holes in your critique because you clearly thought that I had drawn and colored both WHICH IS NOT THE CASE, so I really don't want the critique showing up on my deviation as you were focusing on another artist's line art "problems", not mine. Please don't take it personally.
Also trust me I have no problem with critiques so no need to be condescending, I've been critiqued all the way from famous pros in the industry to people who don't even draw for my entire life, and when critiques are constructive and actually pertain to the artist being critiqued they can be very useful and eye opening.

Real talk: you cannot pick and choose what people critique. You posted art and requested a critique. I did exactly that. I'm not taking anything personally as I'm not the one who asked for the critique. "Please critique this work but don't talk about 50% of the work because I didn't do that" does not work. Art is not the colour, or the shade, or the line. It is the sum of its parts.
'Useless' critique is "this sucks, do better". I took the time to analyze the work posted and critique it as you requested. The moment you start critiquing the critique, then the whole purpose of requesting criticism is called into question.
Good luck with your work.

Well thanks, you as well. Like I said when I put the critique request up I was expecting people to read the description beforehand. Clearly I was giving you too much credit. Once I realized that it was confusing people I took away the critique request.
The fact that I didn't want your critique of another artist on my gallery apparently has made you angry enough that you have been being snarky and condescending to me for about a week now after, so it's pretty clear that you took something a little personally, either that or you must not have much going on and are bored?
I really don't have time for internet drama, so this is the last response I'm giving you as this all should have ended a looooooooooooooooong time ago when I denied the critique. Sorry you got your panties in a twist and decided to be a condescending ass about it instead of realizing that you made a mistake and moving on. Clearly you don't have good people skills so you'll have to get pretty talented for people to want to put up with your attitude. So good luck with that.
