then why don't you get alucard to find more familiar souls so that way he won't just keep dodging, not to mention shouldn't he had started collecting more souls once againΒ

First off - Integra can't just give a few hundred enemies to Alucard to eat out of nowhere, If Alucard has to get a large amount of souls, It had to be logical and well presented, which time hasn't come yet.
Second - I thought that it's an important aspect to present Alucard's character that he himself is dissapointed how weak he is without familiar souls (so his suprise and pride is more justified when he sees that Seras is more capable to fight with only one soul helping her)
Third - According to the story not even a month passed since Alucard's return, he did not had the chance to collect familiar souls yet.
Hope this answers your question

As a Catholic I cannot agree with Alucard, however he is right about one thing, we can't keeping asking God to do everything for us, I believe that he left us a choice how we use our knowledge

Of course, you have no reason not to disagree with Alucard. I just tried to be as accurate with his personality as possible, tried to understand the thinking of someone who turned his back on God.
-Alucard sacrificed every soldier and his country for God's sake (humility), /Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you/ but he lost the fight anyway, no matter how storng his belief in god was.
-SchrΓΆdinger sacrificed himself for the sake of others, so their deaths would not go in vain (self-sacrifice), /Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends./ but he failed to reach his goal to kill Alucard, no matter how noble his intentions were.
Even though he does not deny the existance of it, this events made Vlad think that God is not interested in our actions at all, so he turned himself on god and decided to fight on his own, never again ask for god's help, and Dracula was born.

Indeed, losing his souls took a huge toll on Alucard's power. Makes sense.

Glad you like it. I feared that, dodging the bullets will make him out of character, but glad I could explain why he does it

Richtig geile Stelle! Ist es die Stelle,wo Alucard all seine Leben getΓΆtet hat, bis er schlieΓlich auf SchrΓΆdinger traf, bevor er wieder kam?

So when he killed all his lives including the people who died at the final battle with Millennium and Iscariot.Does that include Rip,Zorin,Luke,Anderson,Yumie,Maxwell,Captain, everyone?

RobertFiddler In reply to Spidervenom123 [2011-08-14 18:19:30 +0000 UTC]
For First: He did not absorded Zorin (she died to far from London). He did not absorded the Captain. The Captain burned leaving no blood behind to absorb.
For Second: Yes, every soul except one. Alucard said this himself in the last Chapter of the manga. That was the only way to find seperate SchrΓΆdinger's and his own mind

Even if he did absorbed all of them even the killed Wild Geese members, yes he killed all his absorbed lives except Schrodinger.

I don't know if it can be called a "showdown". This is a depiction of Alucard before he decided to release SchrΓΆdinger's soul.

well, I just mean how he had to hunt down Schro after finding and destroying/releasing all other familiars.

RobertFiddler In reply to sethbramwell [2011-08-08 05:32:26 +0000 UTC]
I don't know if he needed to hunt him down, since Schrodinger became a "familiar soul" and that way unconsciously serving Alucard Since Alucard's (Vlad's) favorite type of executing is impaling peoples, i thinked it would fit to him if his familiars (captured souls) would be impaled inside of him. This picture should be something like the second before he removes the stake and that way releasing Schrodinger giving him back his consciousness.

sethbramwell In reply to RobertFiddler [2011-08-08 08:16:27 +0000 UTC]
As I understood it, he needed to hunt him down and destroy/release him in order to recognize himself. Problem was, due to Schro being everywhere and nowhere, he couldn't simply recognize him as a single familiar and had to kill the other familiars (process of elimination)... hence the reason it took 20 years for him to return to Integra.

30 years ^^ Yes, hunt him down that way I understand what you mean. Yes something like that must have been happened. I thinked that Alucard did not searched for Schrodinger, he didn't remembered himself anymore, that's the reason why he couldn't use the ability to being everywhere and nowhere, he just started to kill every life what he did not considered as necessary to return to physical realm. And after I time only him and Schrodinger remained
