Hello Everyone!No this is not the actual cover for the last Hellsing OVA, of course. I just did a quick cover design for a Hellsing Excidium chapter but than, I actually thought that this would work out pretty well for a last Hellsing Cover.
I just thought about it that nearly every other major Hellsing character was already on Hellsing dvd cover except SchrΓΆdinger... (and Maxwell, but who cares about him anymore)
I think, everyone who knows what will happen in the last OVA, can know how important this catboy will be in the plot and it would surprise me if he would be the only one who doesn't has his face on a DVD cover.
But of course this is the last OVA, the GRAND FINALE. It's pretty obvious that the producers plan to use some of the main characters for the OVA 10 cover, Seras or Integra or most possibly Alucard. But in the case not, maybe the cover will look like something like this.

The next chapter of Excidium will possible have to wait a long time. I have a few problems I have to deal with before I do more artworks. I'll keep you updated

Meh, I expected it like this. Probably, Schro is considered a plot device so it would be a major spoiler to put him on the cover. -.- still, it would be nice to see more art made of him by Hirano or Nakamori

Personally, I find it kind of upsetting that Maxwell never appeared on a DVD cover. I said once before that he should have appeared on the cover of OVA 6, since that was when he launched the Vatican army into battle.
As for Schro appearing on a cover....I don't really know what to say to that. Throughout the entire serious he was an unimportant character, until the very end where it's suddenly revealed that he was Millennium's secret weapon. Considering this will be the only OVA that the Captain gets to fight onscreen in, I wouldn't be surpised if he appeared on the cover along Alucard, Integra or Seras.
Good job on making a Schroedinger cover though.

Yes, I can understand that. Too bad not every character can get cover art by Nakamori or Hirano... Hey! Now that I think about it, Alhambra didn't had a too. For some reason even though he looks really bad-ass, most of the fans just forget him quickly after watching OVA 3.

Yeah, that's true. The Valentine brothers appear on the cover of OVA 2 and Rip appears on the cover of OVA 4, yet Alhambra doesn't appear on the cover of OVA 3, even though it would make sense considering he's the final villain of it.

It's really interesting how they choose the covers, we have to wait to see who will be on the 10th. I know SchrΓΆdinger has a small chance since as you said he was a mistirious character until nearly the last second, but if to be honest so is every Hellsing villain. They appear, they do something which on we can guess/base their personality, and they die.

Thank you ^w^ do you think so? I actually think that I'm getting closer to what brush size and resolution I need to use while working with my tablet, so maybe the next chapter won't look as goofy as the 10th did. Of course I still have a lot of other stuff to do before I can deal with that

You could easily trick so many people by randomly posting this somewhere like 4chan. So legit looking and I'd love to see the catboy on a dvd cover. I will buy the blu-ray box set in english dubs once it finally releases, but they still need to get 5-8 out in english dub, which SHOULD be sometime at the end of this year

Yes, I think once it's released I will also buy the whole series collection. But until that I have my original Japan Limited edition of the vol.4. I don't understand a word from the dvd, but I got it with the Ryoji Nakamori Works sketch-book

I watched ova eight and nine in Japanese without subtitles but still understood what was going on. Fanboyism at its finest. I can't believe they left the Seras vs the Captain fight for the final episode. I'm too hyped to see that! XD
