I have seen other fanart picturing Nick struggling on the training. I played with the tought that maybe he is more capable than he may appear, thanks to his previous lifestyle in Zootopia. I'm unsure about the Rainforest District...have you seen him looking at the place as if it's first time visit (especially while being mildly scared by the depth of a chasm under the bridge they were walking on), and also feel discomfort by the moisture and rain?
This is just one of the points I made in my 'comment'Β on this...I had to write my thoughts on it.
I kinda get that you follow the common headcanon really strongly. I wouldn't want to argue much, maybe we are both assured about our differing interpretations and headcanons.Β

There is nothing to prove that he did *everywhere* else either. And if this is a specific place where he didn't, which is weird enough already, then him 'knowing everybody' becomes kinda inaccurate.
You did say your headcanon that him knowing everyone in the districts meant he *mastered* all the districts and if you want to think that, then go for it (a few others do as well). I'm just saying that, being a *con-artist*, it is more likely not necessary for him to. So, I don't. Besides, we already see he isn't too comfortable with moisture, so that'll already be a challenge for him in the one-thousand foot fall course (which I otherwise thought would be *relatively* less difficult than the other two for him, well...).
Besides all this, it just doesn't prove he knows street fighting (and it doesn't help that there were a few moments where he could have shown some 'fighting' skills, when he never does really (just one time in the train, when he *tries* to stop a ram from getting Judy, and that to in a weak way, without actual fighting.))
