you should do a mock cover of the series "Afterlife with Archie" that mixes the town of riverdale with zombies and its a real series.

1950s-60s is definitely my favorite Archie period

Yeah, and I'm kinda amazed that Archie let me do it. Β They've been really receptive to ideas, it's been a great place to work. Β I love 1950s-early 60s Archie comics so this was a dream gig.

Changing times, I suppose.Β It's kind of like how Marvel and DC are doing things with their characters that would've never been considered while the Comics Code was in force.Β What was taboo in those days is just taken as a matter of fact now.

Still, I don't think Archie comics has abandoned the essence of the characters and their setting like the Big Two superhero publishers have done.Β I haven't heard of any outrage over this.Β Perhapse it's because I never really got into Archie like I did with the Marvel characters, so I never got to hear the older fan base react to any changes that were being done to the stories.Β I presume that they're still being portrayed as American teenagers circa 1957-1962, with all the experiences that generation grew up with.

Thanks! Β My original version of this cover had the bow tie tied, but untied made home look more rebellious, I guess. Β A bit more "James Dean".Β
