it's not a version.
in alchemy you need a circle (represented by the tail-biting snake) and a diagram (which consists of 3 to 7 points connected with each other in many different ways)

yes u were. i had only seen the non-alchemical ouroboros, the greek one that consistsmerely of the self eating serpent. in both double and single circle flavors. so i think ym confusion is understandable.
