Wolverine + Deathstroke the Terminator = Deathclaw the X-Terminator

Slade Logan knows little of his past. All he knows was that he escaped from a governmental research lab, missing an eye, but gaining an incredible healing factor, increased mental abilities, and an indestructible Adamantium skeleton and a set of six 12" long claws. Filled with an incredible rage, Slade became a mercenary known as Deathclaw. Eventually he was hired to kill the X-Titans by the terrorist organization the Righteous Hive, who wished to exterminate all mutants. Unbeknownst to both the Hive and even Deathclaw, he himself was a mutant. When Deathclaw tried to kill the X-Titans, he discovered that they could help him discover the mysteries of his past. Turning his back on his old employers and joining the X-Titans, Slade now fights on the side of justice as Deathclaw.

As I stated in the earlier set, I wasn't a fan of the Batman/ Wolverine pairing of the initial Amalgam comics. And since I was joining both the Teen Titans and the X-Men this time around, I thought that joining Wolverine and Deathstroke would be a good fit. Both are pragmatic fighters, both are the result of an experiment to create the ultimate soldier. And both are morally grey characters who have to struggle with their darker nature. Yes, it does take some tweaking to make him into a good guy, but since Deathstroke spent some time as an anti-hero, I think it fits pretty well.
