Angel's transformation abilities don't just allow her to take on different combat forms. They also allow her to successfully disguise herself as anything or anyone she may want.

Guardian Angel is not merely limited to forms that are similar to her regular color pallet, or have metallic skin. She can change the color and texture of her attire, the pigmentation of her "Skin" and the coloration of her "Hair" to look identical to an average human. It's this skill that also makes Angel a master of stealth and surprise. Fitting with the more playful attitude that comes out when she is in "Superhero mode," one of Angel's favorite tactics is to disguise herself as an average human in order to get in close to an enemy, and then strike when their guard is down. Angel tends to look upon this as a challenge, in coming up with new ways to confound her opponents. So far, she's been lucky that no one has yet to clue in on this tactic of hers, despite how many times she has done it.

Angel's ability to disguise herself in such a way also allows her to enter and navigate areas that may be cut off from the average person, or slip into an enemy's ranks unnoticed. This allows her to be a bit more proactive in seeking out or investigating threats, uncovering information in a way Starfighter never could.

And there's just the notion of Angel changing her look just for the fun of it, as being a superhero allows her to engage in a bit of freedom that she normally doesn't get in her normal life. Allowing her to live up the fantasy and adventure of her role, before having to return to her everyday life that comes with restrictions and limitations on what her choices are.

There. A totally legitimate reason as to why I did this drawing. And it was NOT just an excuse for me to draw Guardian Angel in a variety of fun outfits.
