Description
Gaze upon the glory of the D'Ni age of Todelmer, written for studying the heavens. Todelmer is one of my favorite ages from Myst V End of Ages, heck, it's probably one of my top favorites in the whole Myst series. This drawing is Todelmer as seen reflected in (yep, you guessed it Myst-Nerds) Esher's gogles. Yes, I love Todelmer because of how techy it is compared to most Ages. However, I dislike Myst V's plot because it doesn't fit with the canon well.

Because we aren't the stranger anymore in 2005, and...well, it's just not as good as the other games. The plot's too weak and is more towards URU than Myst.

URU is still part of the Myst franchise. And I liked Myst V. For some reason, I feel that it's one of my top favorite, but then again I love all the games and the series in general, so whatever. I did not like the real time 3D characters though. I thought the real time landscapes turned out alright, but the characters, eh. I wish they'd make an updated version. With today's tech, it'd all look fab, characters and environments. And the Bahro tablet wouldn't glich. But it's been awhile since I played it. I dunno, maybe I'll change my mind when I play it the next time around (I played the first four "recently" now I need to play URU and End of Ages again).
What I think is weak is how in the books the Cleft is located somewhere around the Middle East and Northern Africa, while in URU/MYST V it's in Utah. I know I they made up some explanation for why they did that, but I don't care much for it.

Well, I know it's New Mexico in URU, but I'm just saying that in the Myst books it says it's supposed to be somewhere around the Middle East. Maybe I'll give them a watch, or at least a listen. Thought I don't usually watch Let's Plays when I could just play the game myself or do something more constructive with my time.

I haven't been able to play EoA either (someday! LOL) but I have seen by accident a screen capture of this world. I'm an astronomy buff, so I think this will be one of my favorites. It looked AWESOME.
This is a cool rendition of it--I really like the colors. The only thing I might suggest is a shine on the lens of the goggles...to show that it's smooth glass or plastic. I think that would add just the right amount of realism.

Oh EoA is a fantastic game! It was much better than what I heard, the beauty of ages such Todelmer and Noloben were just fantastic!
This is an excellent picture by the way, really expresses the way in which Esher sees D'ni and it's ages.
