Here is another arm pose with a dual light source. This is a tricky angle to draw so I need to do it over and over again to commit the ideas to memory. I think a lot of us get discouraged because we expect to be better than we are in a shorter amount of time than it actually takes.

Patience and persistence really are very important parts of our development. One of the tricks that I learned a long time ago was to fall in love with the pursuit, not the goal. This way I enjoy every time I sit down to draw and allow myself to make mistakes. I may not be as good as I want to be right now but my art in 5 years will be much better as long as I put in the time today.
