First rule of doing superheroes, learn the muscles! At least that was my approach back in the day. I still love drawing muscular forms.

I agree. It really makes the comic heroes more powerful if they have dynamic anatomy compared to the regular joes. Β Even the villains should have a
slightly different body style for better storytelling. IMO

Yeah I remember Stan Lee making that very point in the book HOW TO DRAW COMICS THE MARVEL WAY.
