this is a drawing of a dark fantasy character, his name is an anagram for despair.

coming from a regretful and tormented life, respaid was once what was considered human, mortal and alive, but several years of being resented, a disappointment to others and loneliness that tore him apart within. one day, while wandering through the snow covered plains near his home, finally tired of living under his lords rule, he stumbled and fell in the snow in front of an ancient tomb. he never awoke...

or to be more precise, his mind was not what got back up from the cold that day, but his body, a pale, white eyed cadaver filled with all the hate, resentment and agony he endured. an unknown force called him into the crypt he lay before and he found, clutched in by the hands of a corpse, a sinister sword. written on the handle was "exactoris" and upon grabbing it the sword sprung to new life with an unnatural glow. growing an eye that stared at all. the two were now one, a vessel and a weapon. the body now turned personification of despair slowly grew to the ranks of an uncaring tyrant, amassing an army, slaughtering anything in his way, but at the same time it is not without reason. the human form clad in armour is not the true monster, merley an emotionless, almost uncaring machine who drags his insidious blade along the ground as it glares with a terrible eye the same colour that was once respaids. the sword was alive, fed on the hatred and anger and sorrow that now gives motion to the body, it cackles like a madman and shrieks like a spectre. he does not reside in his fortress found in wastelands. but merely wanders aimlessly like a wraith, eliminating all sources of hope, joy, remorse and so on…that is to say, he doesn't show mercy to those who wronged him either...
