Description
Here is the third robot of the Mega Man 9 set, and the most popular by far; the amount of fan art I've seen of her even before the game was released is staggering.Although the mermaid look is fairly predictable, Splash Woman looks pretty good for the first female boss of the classic Mega Man series (if you don't count the Copy Roll from Mega Man: Powered Up). If Tornado Man's design has a subtle reference to Harpuia, there is a more apparent similarity to Leviathan here, due to the trident and the helmet's shape. Still, her fighting style is fairly different and her weapon isn't ice related, so she manages to be unique in her own right.

Ahhh, poor Splash Woman...victim of Mega Man "artists" across the web...I really like this, though. I generally avoid anything to do with her because of the scarrings from GoogleSearching her (ohgod), but I'm still gonna fav this.

she does sort of remind me of leviathan... what with that trident and all... but I'm proud of capcom... they finally broke their sexist ways and created a female robot master... and not a minute too soon XD
well there is only one problem with her design... If she ever were to find herself outside of water... she'd be screwed... at least leviathan had legs...

Splash woman was a reference to Wave man from megaman 5. Their levels are fairly similiar as well. The obvious replica is that in both stages you have to have bubbles ascend you tou to the next part of the map.

Aside from being blue and being a female water robot... I've actually found there to be nothing else to be similar between the two.
Tornado man is an obvious reference to Harpuia but I think Splash Woman wasn't made to be like Leviathan, oddly enough.
