Description 4" x 6" Pigma Micron and green Sanford Col-Erase on paper.

Two triangular knots, a three-sided Celtic roundel and another with a Cross of Cerridwen combine to make a pretty neat page. If you like one of these for an icon, please feel free to download the full view, then edit out just the one you're using -- any of these designs might make a good icon but I didn't feel like scanning them separately. You do have my permission to use them for icons.

Did you made them using some kind of grid structure? I mean, you sketch, and then erase? They look so clear :/ I guess it's all about training a lot ><

No, I sketch freehand when I do knotwork. Occasionally I'll measure and place reference dots to get the proportions right and place multiple knots in a pattern but otherwise I'm just penciling freehand and then clean up the lines in the process of outlining and inlining. Sometimes I don't bother doing crossings in pencil.

I'm lazy that way and skip steps. I've never been able to erase a grid well enough to satisfy myself so I use methods without grids and put my reference dots in places the ink line will go over them, like the outside points of a knot.

I love the triangular knot nearer to the bottom. I'd love it if you could release it as an icon because I don't have any editing tools on my pc anymore...

I think this is the one you meant -- the lower one off to the right. I cleared out the half of the round design next to it and reduced it to a 50x50 pixel GIF... it hasn't got much definition at that size and that's frustrating, but hope you like it!

Hee hee, if you use it, load it before replying so I can see.

Thanks! I haven't gotten around to sending this to *TheKnotters yet, but from the last journal entry there's a huge backlog anyway so I might wait. lol

Thanks! I love triangular knots, and one of my sourcebooks has dozens of them.
