I figured for 2020 I would change my profile pic from a photo taken 10 years ago to 3D self portrait that better represents the way I look today. It's a variation of the old photo... same basic pose and clothing, but a fresh look.Also my most recent OC, Bobby. No... I don't go by the nickname Bobby. Just thought it would be weird to give my OC my exact name.
I could have let it render longer, but it's just a profile pic and won't be seen that large anyway.

Lol! Pretty much. I don't if it's because I'm busy or if I'm lazy, but it's just easier for me to take 10 minutes to buzz my hair and beard with a good set of clippers than to try to find the time to visit the barber/stylist.
Much to my wife's chagrin. She's pushing me to start having it styled with a high and tight fade like I used to do.

It is a good time... I've been wanting to do something like this for a while. The best part of the exercise is using strictly morphs to do it. No Face Transfer or plugins like that.
Funny thing is, when I show it to people in real life that know me, they all say the same thing. It's like... the eyes are perfect, the nose is perfect, the mouth is perfect, ears, face... everything is spot on but for some reason it seems to channel a "tough-guy" vibe that I don't really have. But I suppose that could be because I am an extremely easy person to get a long with... I don't know. Hard to get personality from a 3D character.

Actually, This is more how I look now. My previous profile pic was from a decade ago.
Now, I choose to buzz cut my hair with my own clippers rather than go to a barber to get it done. Cheaper and easier to accommodate on a busy schedule. And I grow a trimmed beard in an attempt to compensate for a weak chin.Β
In real life, I don't think I look quite that bad-ass.
