Description A morning in the rocky mountains, I walked with my brother and we could hear some sound in between stones sounding lik rodents...

We discovered this little pikas (Ochotona princeps). The size of a small hamster, they are related to rabbits. They were working hard making disappearing a lot of grass under the stones to prepare the long and hard winter.

I wish I could run as fast as them in the rockpiles. I think if I'd tried I would have ended at the hospital .

They showed up almost imediately after we came, then we observed to find their spot, came closer and did not move anymore until we kind of "be a part of the landscape".

I spent almost 3 hours not moving to get some good shot.

Thank you, take care !
