Madison Payne's ambitious goals to be her own independent woman were not always to go as planned. After a falling out with her overprotective and overbearing parents, she ran away from home to strike out on her own and fulfill her goal of becoming a professional swimsuit and lingerie model. Realizing that she'd need an income to make it in the real world, and get experience in modeling, Madison started applying for as many jobs as she could, and one of those applications just so happened to attract the attention of C.A.D.M.U.S., who promised her an offer to become their model for promotional posters and videos. Unaware of the danger, Madison accepted straightaway. It nearly cost the poor girl her life.

She was captured and taken to a testing facility where she was subjected to endless and tortuous experimentation that ultimately bound her to a Firestorm Matrix itself. Luckily for Madison, this experiment's success was right around when the Ultimen rebelled against C.A.D.M.U.S. after learning the truth that they were just clones. Madison was liberated by former Ultimen member, Tanya Spears, AKA Galatea, and the two heroines figured it best to work together to take down the rest of the Ultimen. This also attracted the attention of the Titans, who were forced to intervene, but among their numbers were Ronnie Raymond, AKA Firestorm, and Thérèse d'Amboise, AKA Firehawk. In the aftermath of the fight, they were impressed that Madison actually became one with a Firestorm matrix, and offered her the chance to help control her newfound powers, and to become a hero, just like them. Accepting the offer, Madison took up the alias Dynamo, and decided to exact vengeance on deceivers and criminals alike as one of the Teen Titans!

So, for those of you who are unaware, this character was introduced in the New 52 storyline Future's End, as Jason Rausch's successor as Firestorm. She was also a love interest of Tim Drake in that storyline, but I was convinced to revamp her as a Teen Titan, and seeing as I made Ronnie and Thérèse as Titans already, I figured it would be best to keep the mantle of Firestorm within the team. For her costume, well...she's not wearing one at all. Like Silver Banshee, she can modify her skin to look like a costume, which is helpful. Her "costume" was somewhat inspired by the bikini outfit Wonder Woman wore in the Ame-Comi series, and by the outfit worn by Binary/Warbird (A 90's incarnation of Carol Danvers, before she became You-Know-Who.) In the comics, Madison had short hair as a normal human, but when she became Firestorm, it got surprisingly longer. Ergo, I decided to give her longer hair to pay homage to that. She's the girlfriend of Harbinger and a good friend of Robin, Nightstar, Static, Blue Beetle, Kyle Rayner, Soranik Natu and even Impulse, Kid Flash, Cinder and Red Arrow. As a student at Titans Academy, she's the mentee of Firestorm and Firehawk, and often can be seen with Cinder, Prysm, Lightning, Livewire and Solstice when not in class or on missions.
