The facial expression is so intense. How did you get the eyes to have this glow about them? It's a wonderful work in any case. I first thought it's a very good digital painting.

They are glass eyes so with some lighting they easily get this glowing feel

The wings are from a real bird,
the doll has tiny magnets on his shoulderblades,
because the wings are so lightweight it only have
to be the tiniest magnets.
The wings have a leather patch decorated with
gemstones with a tiny magnet among them too.
The clothes go on the doll and the wings simply
stick to the doll when you hold them near his back
Since the wings are light and attached with magnets you
can turn and pose them in any direction you like, and just
take them off like that when travelling etc and pop them
right back on again

Well you said please comment~ o-o and the part that stands out to me the most is his eyes, with such sorrowful eyes it makes me want to hug him, to find a way to clean such a look away. Very beautiful.
