I'm just going to imagine you or whoever you bought them from found the poor bird dead by the side of the road. The other alternative, killing it just to put wings on a doll (no matter how lovely the doll is) is just disturbing.
Not thinking about the gruesome possibilities, this picture has a lovely colour palette and he is a very distinct character. I love the splash of gold eyes in all that gray and white.

Actually I got them from the taxidermist I interned at that moment.
He believes it is sad how such majestic animals as wild birds, foxes etc
often end up dead at the road side or a dumpster so he recieves every
animal that was found dead from the animal police and has a license to
preparate them. They go to schools, musea or design students who use it
in art or costumes. In all three options people can admire the beauty of these
animals and hopefully gain some respect rather then them just ending up
in the trash.
I do respect that some people simply do not support the idea of
using dead animal parts for things like this but to me it is an opportunity
to let people enjoy the beauty of the bird even though deceased

I am relieved that this is where you got the parts from, that it was ethically cultivated. I support educational purposes use of these items, especially if a living specimen is not practical or available for study. I don't believe in waste, the idea of taking a life just to put up the head or tusks or wings for display and leaving the rest to rote is very upsetting to me.
