very purty! I love carpets...one of my favorite snakes are false waters, they remind me of badgers. But I like playing with my snakes too much, so I'll stick with the blue beauties...same markings, bad attitudes but no hospital visits! heh

yeah the false water cobras are vnomous even though rear fanged and no real studies have been done on their actual toxicity. said envenomations go from nothing, to a bit of swelling to suposed that equal to a western diamondback. i love blue beauties. we used to keep and breed them. but they died of old age. very cool snakes

Frightening. My girlfriend would turn crazy with your snake shots ! This one is quite nice technicaly. The deph of field is nicely adjusted with the sharp area on the snake's eyes. Realy nice !

cool are your pets

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

robinism In reply to Tetty [2006-05-27 18:33:49 +0000 UTC]

i do not consider them actual "pets" because they are "wild animals" which are not domesticated like dogs and cats are but we do keep them and enjoy doing so

Tetty In reply to robinism [2006-05-27 19:20:59 +0000 UTC]

are they dangerous?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

robinism In reply to Tetty [2006-05-27 19:45:14 +0000 UTC]

some of the are venomous like our copperhead and the false water cobras. but the rest are not but that doesnt mean they can't be some of the bigger ones have the ability to do damage if they were to bite you, like crush bones or make sever cuts and in extreme cases one could strangle you but thats why you have to learn how to properly handle them and care for them. thankfuly most of them are very docile but you still have to be aware of what they could possibly do
