If this was ever adapted into Power Rangers, it would probably be called "Power Rangers Rail Force" or "Power Rangers Express Force".

I've heard that they chose Orange as the primary color of ToQ6 gou to fit the rainbow motif. But that kinda gets thrown out the window when you consider that there is NO PINK on the rainbow......OOPS!

Not totally true: The rainbow starts with red, but given the edges are not solid, the edge is actually pink.

I just realized something! there was a missed ranger color opportunity here! I know I might sound as an arrogant nit picker but this series could've had the first ever Violet ranger, swapping pink, as part of the core team instead of an additional like GekiViolet and KyoryuViolet.
Would've connected it more to the rainbow aspect of the series. But eh, not complaining.

For some reason, the helmet designs are growing on me, but still, the suits are too bland..
And yes, one reason of blandness is maybe the gimmick of swapping colors but retaining the numbers [and skirts for the two girl], which is pretty cool indeed. It is the element that we didn't saw in Gokaiger [Luka can transform into GokaiBlue or Green and also Ahim but they didn't.]
Your version is also cool man. The cuteness touch on your works never ceased to amaze me

I like their helmets. But I just can't get past the suits. The suits are just wrong.

To be honest, the main problem for me is the track across the visor. If you take away the track and make two bands around the upper arms to break up the solid colour, then that's an improvement. Hell, turning the track into simple shoulder guards would work better than across the visor like that.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this, but these suits feel like that they are in the same vein as Carranger's. I hope it isn't following the same tone as Carranger either, cuz I'm not up for two heavily-comedic-centred Sentai series in a row...mind you, I'd be having an even tougher time imagining the Tokkyuger suits being related to a somewhat serious story...

the more i look at the suits the more im like:
"........... eh, its okay"
i wouldnt have minded though if they put rail like trims (or just plain silver) down the arms and legs. or made the cuffs more detailed but, ohwell.

In a way the suits remind me of the pre-1990s shows. I don't really like the idea but I'm sure Toei has their reasons.

I'm going to be honest, while my first impression about Tokkyuger is not positive, I think I'll wait until I see the series properly before passing judgement. My first impression of Kamen Rider Gaim couldn't be more negative and right now is my favorite show on air.
All I'm saying, wait until the series air before definitely condemning it.

Everyone who is positive about this is tryin to make me feel better by saying that too. But as for my views. No matter what the story is.. Sentai is always a sentai. Rangers fighting grunts, villain of the week, Robos, getting knocked, acquiring new Robo or Power up, then victorious on the final episode. It's always like that. That's why I can't take the laziness they've made to the suits. Train theme has many potential.
