i like this and infact its jsutbe come a what?? FAV!!! ahhhh ...but on tha real i love the way you colored this....my coloring style is a slight variatn...where you may uses diufferent colors for your lights and darks i use different layers of dodging and burning so that i can set transparencies on each color so that i can decide how i like the feel of the pic...but this has jsut recently become my habit....
i like your whole gallery so you rock....

O_o...
I've been attempting to CG things for a while now, and I STILL don't know what the crap I'm doing.
Your coloring looks far better than mine.
How in the world do you get the shading to look so smooth? Is there a secret tool I'm missing?

I just use the paint brush. But I'll try to tell you how I do it ^^
The secret to the colors is layers. I'll make a seperate layer for each area. So say I want to do the light skin tone. I make a layer called 'skin-light' (mostly for my reference when working with the different layers) and do all of the light tones, carefully avoiding the areas I marked to shade. Then I'll make a 'skin-dark' layer and put it below the 'skin-light' layer so that if I go over an area, it doesn't overlap that color. Then I just repeat the process.
That's how I do it now. That pic of Amon took me several hours to paint because I did it the hard way, basically going over the colors and making sure not to get into the other colors and over the black lines. It was tough work The way I do it now is much simpler, and I think it looks nicer. ^^

^^ Thank you! My hand was really cramped after a while working on that. I had to take a loong break for it to feel normal again. But I'm really happy with how it came out.
