I really like the execution and how the depth of field makes the main subject matter stand out more. I guess you could desaturate the background a bit so that the impact is increased, but it's not too bad... I'm not too sure about what you've done with the colours and such. The tone is interesting, though.
I do feel as if you could have a slight vignette so that we really focus on the joining of the hands. It would be interesting to see it in black and white, but... yeah, not bad.
