The first of my two initial pieces for "The Horrors of Hale Pele" group show opening in Portland, OR. Tiki and Horror...Two Great Tastes That Go Great Togetherβ’Pencil, Microns, and eventually Prismacolor Markers on printmaking paper.

This work of art has a lot going for it.
To start off, the title alone is a great gag. It is clever for the She-Creature having to have pure black eyes. They match up with the pure darkness of her deep underwater environment. No other fish or human diver will see her coming from the deep depths. I love how we can barely see the upper side of her right breast above her left shoulder. Indicating she's got some nice large boobs to entice any potential male lover. As well as a humanly petite body shape with big womanly lips too. Love the fins representing a Mohawk hair style and large eye brows. Lastly, The color palette of Blue, gray stone, green seaweed and green fish body is simply pleasant.
Love to see more of this lovely woman from the deep.
