Description
Burne Thompson is a news editor for and the president of Channel 6. He's rather stubborn and has a hatred for the Turtles and mutants in general, even supporting the quarantine on Mutant Town. Some of this hatred comes from the fact that his girlfriend, Tiffany, is a mutant hater and he wants to look good for her, but it also stems from the fact that the studio is constantly affected by the Turtles' adventures, and he always has to pay for the repairs. His ire against them reached its peak when one of their adventures saw the building get blown up and, while it was repaired in my AU, he still blames them for it all. However, April's covering of the Turtles' adventures brings in high audience ratings, which puts Burne at an impasse, since he wants them dealt with and he also wants to keep the high ratings.
