Description
Slashers are the most common type of Necromorph, having appeared in just about every piece of Dead Space media. Their name comes from the fact that they have two elongated arms that end in biological blades and talons. Female Slashers are knowns as Spitters due to the fact that they possess a long-range spitting attack in addition to the standard Slasher attacks. Other Necromorph variants possess similarities to the Slashers, such as the Hunter created by Dr. Mercer on the Ishimura.
