Momentarily halted in the name of gainful employment. At last stock-taking: I cast somewhere around 20 of them, some have since been dispersed, but I have a pile around somewhere....

Cuuuuuteness! I'd be happy with one that I paint myself if you're ever planning on selling them (Also, etsy is a good place to sell, again, if you ever plan on it)

As it stands they're cast in something a lot like plaster. I still haven't painted any up in a way that i'm satisfied with... that's the major impediment on loosing them into the wild at this point.
It'll pop up on here when they're ready to go, if I'm ever comfortable with it. I really don't want to sell something I'm not proud of, and I'm pretty ridiculously critical of some things...

I can respect your critical nature. It produces high caliber work.
There are some pretty cool communities out there for vinyl toys. I think Bull-cube would be a great addition to that market. Just my opinion though.

That is fantastic. What kind of materials were used to create him?

Thank you sir.
He's sculpey (oven bake polymer clay - in this instance I made about a 50/50 mixture of the grey firm sculpey (too firm) and the flesh colored super sculpey (too soft) to make something that was just right). He also has a little bit of wire and tin foil in him for bulk and support. It's a good material for high detail and small scale, but it requires a lot of support if it's responsible for holding it's own weight so it's really not so great for anything too big.

You're welcome!
That is quite interesting, I have been experimenting with some sculpey here and there, but haven't quite worked out hot make it come out how I imagine it!

For more complicated things I usually try to build a sketch in wire first, and then make a really sturdy armature based on that. That way you don't have to touch one part to sculpt on another (like having to have to hold the back of a head to sculpt a face) or worry about anything moving on you while you work.
