Favorite Game: I purchased Pokémon Moon at its midnight release and played it immediately. I'll admit, I wasn't super fond of it at first, but as I kept playing I ended up being absolutely floored by the game. The graphics made an impressive jump ahead and I really loved how alive it felt! This was the most challenging Pokémon game I'd ever played; I found the battles to be very difficult at times and I actually enjoyed those moments where I felt like throwing my 3DS out the window! The story was so well-written and there wasn't a single character I disliked because I ended up loving them all! I absolutely loved the music in this game; it brought every location/battle/scene to life!

Honorable mentions: Pokémon OR/AS, Heart Gold & Soul Silver, Diamond and Pearl

Despised games: I don't have any games in the core series I hate/don't like. They have all brought me so much joy (even if some drove me crazy at times).

Favorite rival: Gladion. I loved that he had ties to both of the villains and was actually important to the story. Loved the guy's edginess. He also just kind of cracked me up with interactions with Hau and that the two didn't get along very well. After I encountered him the first time, he was kind of mysterious to me, and I enjoyed learning more about him as the story progressed. I really love that in Pokémon lore, Gladion is the one who gave Silvally its name.

Honorable mentions: Silver (a very close second), Gary/Blue/Green, Hau, Barry

Despised rival: I don't hate or dislike any of the rivals in Pokémon.

Favorite villain: Lusamine (aka Alolan form Cynthia, XD). Lady was absolutely crazy, but I loved it! I loved that she had ties to Lillie, Gladion, Cosmog/Nebby, Type: Null, and the seemingly unimportant Mohn. This lady lost her mind over the freaking Ultra Beasts, which required an epic (and difficult) final showdown in Ultra Space. I like that she may have been an innocent and good mother at some point, but became too obsessed with the Ultra Beasts that she lost her mind.

Honorable mentions: Mars from Team Galactic; I always liked her for some reason.

Despised villain: None. I don't hate any of the villains.

Fave gym leader: Misty! I always liked her in the games and in the anime. She was just cool to me; I really can't say much about why I like her in the games other than she puts up a good fight. But as far as anime Misty goes, I always liked that she was fiery and was mean at times, but deep down really cared about her friends. It always cracked me up that she wouldn't leave Ash alone about her bike in the anime! XD

Honorable mentions: Brock, Clemont, Iris, Cilan, Whitney, and Clair.

Favorite E4: Acerola. Acerola was adorable and I quickly grew to love her. She's almost like an adorable version of the hex maniacs. I love that we first meet her at the library where she wants to help you, then find out she's a trial captain, takes care of kids and their Pokémon at the Aether House, and later becomes an elite four member.

Favorite champion: Cynthia! I'll always remember her as one of my most difficult battles ever. It was the first time me of my Pokémon had used up all its moves and had to use struggle. It took me at least 5 tries before a pure stroke of luck where I managed to defeat her. I liked how she showed up from time to time during your Sinnoh travels, and if we get Diamond and Pearl remakes I'll be looking forward to see how they flesh out her character more. She was always cool, yet mysterious.

Favorite Pokémon: Mimikyu! I'll admit, before I knew much about it, I thought it was odd that they were making a ghost Pikachu. But I had to look closer to notice that it was wearing a costume. After learning about how it just wanted to be friends with humans and dressed up like Pikachu since people thought it was too scary otherwise, I quickly grew to love this Pokémon with a sad backstory. After discovering there was an entire Mimikyu rap and looking up the English lyrics, this little cutie tugged at my heartstrings and became my favorite. I loved it even more after discovering what an excellent sweeper it is!

Honorable mentions: Pikachu, Milotic, Eevee, Tsareena, and Type: Null.

Despised (well, least favorite): Jynx. It's not that I hate Jynx or anything like that, Jynx just weirds me out a bit for some reason. 😅 But I definitely DON'T hate it because of the old controversy that it was supposedly "racist".

Fave starter: Piplup! After choosing my first starter Pokémon in Sinnoh, the cute little penguin tyke quickly grew on me. I enjoyed using it in battle and it had a pretty good move pool, and had access to moves that gave it an advantage over grass types.

Honorable mentions: Snivy, Oshawott, Cyndaquil, Fennekin, Bulbasaur, Torchic, Treecko

Fave mega : Mega Gardevoir! Its design absolutely screams elegance. I can't say much about how it is in battle because I've never used a Mega Gardevoir, but I can definitely vouch that regular Gardevoir packs a pretty powerful Moonblast attack.

Honorable mentions: Mega Kangaskhan, Mega Charizard Y, and Mega Mawile.

Fave legend: Mesprit! I think it's such an adorable legend and it's colors are so lovely! I believe it was the first legendary I got to level 100. Mesprit was a little pain in the neck to catch because it was one of those "roaming" Pokémon that run away the instant the battle starts. Luckily, I saved my master ball to make sure I caught it.

Honorable mentions: Lunala, Cosmog, Groudon, Ho-Oh, Dialga, and Palkia.
