Description
Vectored from this screencap. I haven't added the medallion yet because there is no HD version of the image I was using as of yet, so the medallion's details get blurry when I zoom in, making it hard to vector. I'll try to do it anyways, but it may have to wait until I can get an HD screencap.I think I completed this in record time! Took me around 12 hours if I had to estimate. I hope you all like it! I plan to do three more show accurate vectors because I'm looking to join and having at least three show accurate vectors is a requirement to join.
I tried a new stroke tapering method, and it works really well! Here's the tutorial:
I still need to adjust her forelock(?) because it's missing one color, but I couldn't figure out where to put it do to the low quality of the screencap. That will all be fixed once the screencap is available in HD.
Trixie has really grown on me lately and she's one of my top 3 favorite ponies (the Dazzlings don't count because they're not canonly ponies, unless merchandise art counts, which, I don't think it does). I love her great and powerful ego and she's just adorable! Kathleen Barr does an excellent job voicing her!

Sorry there's no download at the moment, I heard there was an art thief going around, and I don't wanna take my chances. I may put up a download once everything has settled back down.

Nice work!
Also, I've decided to try vectoring! I've found a vectoring app that works on my iPad so I'm gonna try it out! Any advice?

Oh awesome! My best advice is to stick with it, even if you feel like it doesn't look as great as you want; you'll get better as you do more. Be sure to take breaks every so often, as vector work can take a while and will get a bit tiring.
(P.S. If you want to do vectors on a computer, but don't want to purchase an expensive Adobe program, I know there's a free vector program called Inkscape that a lot of people use. )
