Description
WINyaMP3 v1 had a total of about 60,000 downloads on our website, [link] , [link] , [link] , [link] and [link] . We also received many, many requests, like "nice, but there is no winshade mode...", "I don't like yellow, that is why I want color themes!", "great, but is too big for me". We now finished WINyaMP3 v2, which is based on user requests.New in this version:
- 35 color themes (requested by users)
- resizable equalizer, thinger and main windows - by adding Control Menu (on main window click on the playing status image). Was also requested by users!
- added winshade mode for main window (requested by users)
- skinning all components (including menus)
- new Configuration panel with: enable/disable song ticker scrolling, show/hide MiniPlayer, enable/disable shadows (desktop alpha), always on top, display numbers in playlist and... color themes switcher included!
- new About panel
- new nifty & tricky/useful Visualization panel
- much better scripting
- now you can make your Winamp3 work much faster using the Configuration panel!

sounds like it would be a great winamp3 skin with all these functions.. if only the design wasn't so ugly.

I honestly like the great 3d concept going on. Though I must add, The overall piece doesnt have the same quality I was expecting.
I understand your many hours of work put into this, but I keep looking at MMD skin, and... I dunno....
Aside from the 3dness, thats the only part I like about it all...

the shade mode and all the optional colour modes are... how to say this nicely... rancid.
I really think you should have put more effort into them, they are a very obvious add on. The shade has really jagged buttons and the colours are too strong and too complete, try colour combos with grey.
I was quite dissapointed.
Could be a great skin but it needs alot more work, mabey let a few other people do some colour modes for you since you cant seem to be bothered do any good ones

Stunning! It would be perfect if the playlist minimized to a single bar, similar to the way the main player does... then I would definetly use it.

i like it. I dont particular like the design that much, but the skin is so intuative to use, something lacking in many new skins. Many people place looks over the functionalyt\y fo the skin. Only problem is that it doesnt have a foward and back button. Its a awsome attempt, but it can get better. Mainly the design.

This reply is specially for those who don't like the 3D perspective combined with 2D perspective... I couldn't make those things with a 3D perspective (if others can, congrats to them).

Alot of the stuff on it does not match the 3d look. The buttons and all the stuff in the EQ are not in perspective to the angle of the skin. After taking countless graphic and architecture courses, this kinda jumps righ out at me and just bugs the hell out of me. It's a good idea, just seems a bit half-assed to me.

First i want to thank to all of you who like this skin. That's why i have made v2 - you requested it !
The Thinger icons are ugly because Winamp3 doesn't know to resize them with antialias.... Any other thing that isn't working "with my skin" is Winamp's fault. Every option from my skin works on my computer.

that's a really cool skin, I also appreciate the big choice of color themes, the only thing that bothers me are the icons in the thinger, they seem to be to big and have a low res

Quite nice. Certainly it's no MMD3, but after reading the about I see it's based on some other mp3 player from times past.
Well I dunno how bood a re-creation of it it is, but it looks quite nice.
The colour schemes are very lacking though in my opinion. They shouldn't be just one colour shaded over the whole thing, but more like the default scheme, just with each colour int eh default replaced by a different one.
