Woah! What if you used this newfound TAAY TOOOR TOTS ability to fend off downtown bums? It just might be too powerful!

Heheh, that show is just terrible- and it made cry when I saw that one Egyptian-themed card called "Obelisk the Destroyer." It looked nothing like an obelisk might as well have had any other arbitrary monument name for no reason like, "Mount Rushmore the Grudge-Holder," or "Washington Memorial the Bashinator."

now in reallity, ygo, is actually a kid locked up in an insane asylum.. he has a split personality disorder, which causes him to send his oppends to the shadow realm..or stab them with a sharp object then have a sizzure.. what ever happens first..
wait thats actually a good line for a comic parody of ygo..hmmm mdn, mi-dont-no!

Or, "arseful euphanism."

You know, I never actually thought of that... maybe it would occour at whatever the typical age is and it just wings it from there?

I hate card games they're pointless, because once you get a perfect deck they bring out new cards which change the rules which then equal further wasted money >.< As for this deviation it's evil and cute at the same time

Yeah, I guess that's how the game of business is played. I used to be into that Magic: The Gathering action, but at least one could appreciate the gorgous artwork most of the cards had. I just hated all those hard-core tournament people that would ban all the awsome cards, but at least Wizards of the Coast released a card that makes fun of those people that enables you to arbitrarily ban any card that rocks. Stupid tournament-leagal people... they're the reason I stopped collecting.

What!?! No Flaming Purple Saber of outright gooditude? That kid must be playing with an old deck or something...
I love the cute little cartoonie Girls. I just started working at Mile High, and we have kids like little Bobbie come in ALL the time looking for that worthless Yu-gi-oh crap. It's just so hard to belive that Overpower never caught on...I mean THAT was a great Card gAme...

You got a job at Mile High? I bet that's pretty awsome for you, heheh. I apologize for the medicore out-of-date cards, but I myself am out of date when it comes to Yugi-Oh!dom. Shouldn't it be "Goodnicity" or "goodnessism?" What if it's the "Over-whelming Flaming Purple Saber of Outright and Utter Anti-Badnessamentarianisminationillitude ment?" (I love how the internet allows people to type stuff without having the capability of pronouncing it.)
Heheh, but anyways I've never even heard of Overpower.

keoku216 In reply to RoboGoGoRobo [2004-11-15 06:05:30 +0000 UTC]
I wouldn't dream of trying to pronounce that. Actually, I am quite torn about the job, as it is pretty cool, but I will soon have to quit. I just recently realized that I will be moving back to Colorado Springs in a mere month, thus negating any possibility of advancement at this job. Kinda give and take.
...and you've never heard of Overpower?!? ! It was this badass game based on Marvel comics. It was pretty huge back in like Eight grade, but it quickly died. I have the distinct 'honor' of owning a nearly complete deck.

I was going to originally name him Bobby Snookums, but when I wrote it down and inked it, I forgot the name and Lumpkins came out it! Although it would be more fun to watch a "Snookums" get beat up, "Lumpkins" is just an awful name to contend with. I wish I knew what I was talking about. Uhhhh...

It's about time I drew something cute. I feel a bit soiled and need to draw something horredously gorey to counteract the cuteness.

Ya know I was kinve thinking of doing a comic similar to this. What with the "oh you cant do that unless you beat me at this irrelavent card game" thing. But I think you did a better job than I would've. that Darkest mage of Dankatude is classic.
I also like how you threw a child version of Lynn in there and better yet.. made her a villain

RoboGoGoRobo In reply to TheAenigma [2004-11-12 11:25:08 +0000 UTC]
Hehe you should still make one as the world needs more anti-Yugi-Oh!. Yeah, there's also a kid-Celia in there, too but I figured that she'd be outside more often during that time so she'd be more tan.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
TheAenigma In reply to RoboGoGoRobo [2004-11-13 07:37:58 +0000 UTC]
Ya I may still make one. Or better yet I can bomb whatever studio makes it and thus destroy the root of the problem. Thats the ticket.
I recognised the other girl too but I didnt know her name. But I still like how you put them both in there in prepubescent form. Its so weird seeing them without breasts.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
RoboGoGoRobo In reply to TheAenigma [2004-12-07 11:36:57 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, and the characters are actually so much easier to draw without breasts, too. Actually, I think it'd be too late to stop the problem at it's source; the only way we can truly do that would be to travel back in time and stop it then. Now we'd have to explode many retailors and hard-core fans to make it go away... or just wait until they grow out of it. I guess either way, a time machine would be the perfect tool to fix the problem with.

Now that I look back on it, it should have been of danknation or danknatude... That still wouldn't stop him from being the darkest of mages... whatever that amounts to...

RoboGoGoRobo In reply to espers [2004-11-12 03:37:52 +0000 UTC]
Oh yeah, Mount Rushmore the Grudge Holder! If I can figure out something just about as terrible as their "Obelisk the Destroyer" maybe there will be one...
It is a pretty obscure reference, though. I'm not sure if it would fit within a three panel dealie.
