I agree tekweapons. The dialog as a result of the expansion is so much better. Example, "Gasp... OH NO! They're getting even bigger!" and so forth.

I would use one to three of the text but keep it small imo. I do agree that using too much blocks the artwork but it wouldn't hurt to have some. Just my opinion.

I think words are very important because it virtualizes an idea that can't be drawn, but it's certainly up to the artist's preference to clutter it up or not

Too true. Less is almost always better. It IS a pity that most still pictures don't have a way to add sound to them -- that could be fun, and less obtrusive than cluttering up the drawing with sound text.

I agree. I think sometimes one or two can be fine if it's for comedy. But if the intent was just to show movement it seems unnecessary. Also, I like this deviation because it means the next part of Distortion is being worked on. Awesome.

Sometimes I like the words that follow the motion. I guess if they don't act like censor bars and come in two or less, they can be okay.
