I am a fan of martial weaponry (although, like many people in the word, I cannot afford authentic versions), and thus I like to draw them a lot too. These were done somewhere in the first few weeks of college, and in Drawing class when I couldnt concentrate. It first came out as a random pencil line (the bladed edge of the one towards the left), before the subconscious self caught up, which inspired me to come up with this idea.

As you can see vaguely near the center of the piece, the spaces in the blades are actually hollow, a last minute thing to make it look a little nicer. I was meaning to give it some elemental effect, but I failed terribly, thus resulting in what you see now. Based a lot of the design on the Chinese broadsword or the Arab falchion, and gave them a sort of fantasy theme. Cant remember which one I was thinking of doing back then.

Feel free to add comments. These blades may be further improved if I have the time and the inclination. I may even add a little story behind them, maybe even names.
