Hmm... well, I think the idea is nice and for the most part you were okay with anatomy. But... the right foot seems to be off when it comes to size and perspective of it, and the fingers don't seem to have dimension as they hold onto his ankle...
As far as looking like the character... I never would have guessed that it's L. I think it is the face and hair color that completely throws me off.
You did nice with the little cake and underwear folds.

Hahaha, I always laugh at my inablilty to draw the human anatomy! XD I had to rush with the pic to make it in time for the contest (but I know I probably would've made the same mistakes despite that XD) haha, and the foot was going off the page, so I had to color in the rest...
