My contest entry for an art contest at , where the theme is romantic robots.

After some pondering, this novel idea of a "plug'n'play bouquet" struck me. Since I doubt robots in love have any real use for chocolates or roses. Diamonds might prove useful as weaponry, or a source of energy though. But a dozen plugs it is then.

As for the bot himself, I wanted something wasn't so much a Transformer or those in "I, Robot". Going for orginality here. But...I'm still fascinated by the elements that many TFs are based off of. The Gladiator sport was one of them. Googled up some interesting schematics on the armor a Roman soldier wore, and designed to use that for EO3's body. Thought of using a helmet, but heh... helmets really have a way of making it look so very Transformery. Went from looking like Tracks, to Prowl, to Hot Rod, to Armada Starscream.. and... *ack* ...okay, how about drawing him without a helmet. It would be more proper that he not wear one if he were wooing his mate anyway. *heh* "
