This does seem like an interesting DB concept. Between two people/beings being the scapegoat (In Absol's case the scape-Gogoat) in disasters going up against each other. I don't know much of Sharknado though.
A DB concept I had was Parappa vs Game & Watch and Trunks vs Silver.
