so, ,,, basically i have this sorta headcanon

in the scenario where lewis ends up rejoining the group, he would be able to maintain a form where he looks exactly like he did before he died (save for the eyes) but it takes a lot of concentration and energy to do so, so arthur and vivi quickly insist that he stops using it all the time to avoid collapsing on a regular basis. so, lewis opts for a sort of "fusion" form, not quite human or ghost form, but human enough and much easier to maintain than a completely human form. in this form his hair is still somewhat firey, his outfit is different than normal, and his ribs and anchor are visable. he uses this form mainly when at home as opposed to completely ghost form (which he generally dislikes using) and uses his completely human form when out in public (complete with sunglasses to hide his special eyes)
