i have a headcanon that sometimes davesprite takes daves shirt and puts it on and pretends to be the real dave. he usually cries all over it by accident and says dave probably spilled applejuice on it

sorry guys sometimes i think that people dont understand how sad davesprite is. he had the pent-up feelings that dave normally has, with the knowledge that *his* friends are gone. not even dead, gone. removed from existance. and his *friends* now dont view him as their friend dave, just as davesprite. hes just a helper now, not a hero. he watched his bro die and couldn't do anything to stop it. hes been through so much shit and no one ever bothered to ask if he was okay

then again he probably would have lied if they asked
