This image was supposed to be a 30min sketch but between phone calls, emails and other stuff I lost time focus. So I'd say it took closer to an hour.

In Kevin's photo there is a large tanker ship on the beach with a man looking at it. I loved the sense of scale between the ship, the man and then the foreground posts. I thought it would be cool to have something odd in exchange of the ship, so that's where the robot came in. I added a dog because my dog is here beside me whining to go for a walk and generally being a pain in the ass, and I thought it would look more natural - a man walking his dog on the beach. Kinda' suggest the robot has been there for a while and become just part of the scenery. Will be putting out more concept art like this, would love feedback and to connect with folk so say hello!
