Yes, Warth appeared to be modeled after Ganesha, the Hindu Lord of Beginnings and Lord of Obstacles, patron of arts and sciences, and the deva of intellect and wisdom (This guy just stacks up titles!)

But I couldn't think of an Indian or Hindu term that rhymed with Hope! Much less think of a visual concept for it!

The work was done by Anonymous on 4-Chan, whose only identifiable identity came from the file being saved with this clue at the end "By B."

Whose B?! I dunno, but I will one day find out!
And shake his or her hand in the process.

Another sketch was done by the lad of Psycho Pirate, which I hope (tee hee) doesn't mind that the better of the two gets displayed here (I still have his pic saved)
