Thy Kingdom Comes.So Magog, the Golden Calf, makes his debut properly in the DC universe.
Great, problem lies in the fact that his entire sequence went from being admired and elevated into being one of the people who followed.
Kinda ruins the whole purpose of him being a false idol, unless dear ol' Geof wants to reserve him for a future story.
Everyone and their monkey can see he resembles Nathan "Cable" Summers because that's what Ross and Waid absolutely hated about the 90's.
Ironically, because his get up really works in the proper DC universe.

you want to talk about Ironic despite desinged to be everything they hated about 90's superheros Magog ending up being one of the designs Mark Waid and Alex Ross liked the Most.

Are we sure about that? Ross is known for not being very appreciative of anything that isn't from the Silver Age.
Waid I could figure liking him, he likes just about everything.
