Anyroad, in the image we have Nekratini...the long and lovely lady in red...XD Bubbalotl has some beautiful sketches of her...i have yet to figure out how he managed to get so awesome at drawing HAIRRRRRR 8D the crazy looking thing beside her is a Happy Worker, in their regulation uniforms. there. now you know what Sleep is supposed to be like. They are talking about their worlds...i imagine she's from somewhere rarer and more wonderful than the frozen wastelands of the Workers.
the image itself is a little rougher than i'd like...i am slowly learning how to kind of paint with the tablet....which sucks. because i am a lousy painter...but i really really hope you like it man...XD i tried to do something really...artsy...and it might have fallen short of retarded T.T

So I am very happy to finally see one of the workers in color, I always thought the mask had a neat design element to it but when i see it in color it is even better. Which is surprising XD, metal is darn hard to color. Although i must say,.... I want some toe socks and glovies like that. *looks at little worker* it really is amazing that Omni dosen't have constant nightmares with those little guys crawling all over all the time.
As for the lion ^^
It ha such a cute face XD,.... but again,.. as with all of your art I am hella inlove with the feets ^^. *secret* the way you draw feet is always an insperation to me.
And I have talked non stop about how awsome the background elements are. It really is an amazing picture. That little 3rd rank is so small XD.

yes, learning the tablet is a pain.. i still hate it & i've had one for 5 years. my lines don't come out anywhere near as sharp as my pencilwork >.<

I think there would be something wrong with Bubbalotl if she didn't like this. It's lovely! The painterly approach is really hard but I think you pulled it off really nicely. I love the colours

Wow....the description of Sleep's world and my own sound frighteningly similar...*laughs* I'd definitely be into that....
Soon enough you'll get to see a nice few chunks of Patches' world...though sadly "Issue 0" doesn't have her bitter cherubic Conscience or Roosevelt and his deranged, cupcake-pink self....But it is a musical number...for reals...It is written as a song that Patches sings...and so far it's not bad...good or bad...Zombies singin' MGM-style is, at least, generally a receipe for an interesting evening

Ok, after reading the comment carefully, I just wanna say that I hope Bubbalotl likes this; I certainly think it came out well
Also, I have to agree with you, Bubbalotl did an AWESOME job on sLEEP in the trade
He looks all real and muscly and stuff
Still, I think you should be proud of your own style; it has a very nice look and feel that I wish my art had. Your coloring and shading create a sort of texture (or maybe tone is a better word) that's really yummy (for want of a better term).
