Yes! i even have hair kinda like yours! Otto!*snicker* So i went to see it again today...yeah.
Just remembered to scan this...i drew this homage in a frenzy of fawning when i went to see the movie the first time...heh...Stoney beat me to uploading it tho'...her's is much cuter by default ^_^.
Anyway, this will probably be redone in a different style, not that i mind the chocolate mocha hoo-ha, but i want to try something a little different. I like the drawing a bit, and it marks the first time all of you you see me...all gorgeous, short, unkempt, maniac four feet eleven of me. With robot arms as an added bonus.
Oh...did i mention that i like Dr. Octopus?

oh, I love everything about this. how you've captured the spirit of an evil maniac genius having rocking fun being an evil maniac genius...and those shorts imply some hitting tha beach is about to happen. Surfing with actuators...now that’d be worth seeing.

I love the shading and shinys on the tentacles, and the way you draw folds in cloth as quite straight, thin, sort of aztecy lines. it’s an original solution to a tricky problem (drawing cloth is sooooo hard) also the hair! is so floppy! I can nearly feel it!
and the face is just perfect, with the mile wide grin and the shades and the eyebrows. so...gleefully evil (gleevil!)...so coool...

I am glad that you liked it! heh....willow charcoal, eh? i could never get used to that stuff...first it's on my paper...now it's on my pants. And the carefully rendered shading didn't translate at ALL well to denim. What a DRAG!

This is just plain adorable... So chibi and demonic and maniacal. So delightfully fiendish. The colour scheme is quite nice, too, as is the movement across the page with all the tentacles. Hehehehe. I bow in worship. Makes me want to try fiendishing up some of my Otto pictures... ^^
As to Classic!Otto and his bowlcut, I give the man props for so defiantly wearing that godawful haircut and those disturbing GLASSES for so long! Year after year after year he went about kicking convention in the arse and daring anyone to call him on it. YU DA MAN, OTTO!

o.O What're you talking about, I LOVED your Lost pictures! Especially the Easterpilot one, he looked like some kinda cute mutant spider-plant, all spiny and green. Your art impressed me then and still does. ^^ I printed 'em out and hung 'em up in a long succession of cubicles before I got out of that line of work. Now they're in a folder of stuff destined to decorate the door of my room. Right next to the Pilot photos. Myep.
