I had been working on this all day
I also made a watermark thing while I was at it. I was always told to put my name on stuff, but I always disregarded that. So yeah I'm going to be placing my name on the stuff now. I also tried a new shading style, and I love it
It takes way longer than my normal shading though.
I came up with this after seeing a few cyber punk drawings or characters and wanted to draw my FCs in the theme.

Yeah, I prefer cell shading but I always end up veering off to do soft even when I want to try cell. Force of habit I suppose XD

Yes, I do draw with a mouse. Though friday I was dared to use my tablet I hadn't used ever since I'd got it and had gotten the hang of making little sketches and doodles. I found it better than my sloppy mouse sketches, so for this drawing the sketch was by tablet and everything else was by mouse. I can't seem to still work that tablet into actually drawing real art with. So yet again I still like the mouse better. I seem to have more control with it.

I could never do that, my patience wouldn't allow it XD I've pretty much always had a tablet though, it's just more similar to drawing on paper, which I do a lot as well. And yeah, a tablet takes a while to get used to. The whole 'not actually looking at the surface you're drawing on' is something, and the tablet allows a lot more variation is lines and colour and shading and all that jazz, so I still haven't found something I really like yet, and I've had one for 3 years XD
And you must have one hella' wrist. The moments where I have drawn with a mouse, has left my wrist hurting like nothing else O.o

I guess I'm just used to using the mouse. At first It did hurt my wrist a little about a year ago since I'm actually still new at digital art. It probably took a month or so before my wrist became used to it. I also didn't have a tablet so that's what I was stuck with until I saved enough to buy one. When I brought it though I hated the thing, I couldn't draw on it at all. So after that one and first day I stuck it in my closet for a year and a half until my friend dared me, and I dared her to use the mouse.

You're new to digital art as well? O.o That's even more impressive. Stop being impressive! But I'd call that dedication; I got a tablet because I hadn't even thought about using a mouse for full on drawings, I didn't think you could get anything decent out of it, but I've seen a few people on dA now you've proved me wrong XD

The shading, the designs, the colors, EVERYTHING. I don't think I'd ever be able to do something like this. I applaud you, good sir.
