So much detail and hours without using any filters.There isn't that much to say about this only that Crome takes huge injections of some sort of medicine that he's been placed on when he was at the asylum to make him less murderous and more calmer. It actually works, and he apparently does take the injections....sometimes. Damn this took forever and is probably the most detailed pic I ever made so far
I just realized I forgot his scar across his eye
so I kinda had to fix it.

I have to figure out what to draw my oc doing first, that's why I've been taking a while. And this just popped up in my head and I started to draw it. Though I'm also a Noob at Livestream and the website slightly confuses me since I use facebook's tiny chat all the time. Though I will start when I think of the perfect thing to draw at the livestream

I only just started drawing machinery, three months ago I really sucked at drawing robots, weapons and machines

It's always worth taking more time isn't it? You can only get better with each second longer you take!

It defiantly seems to be worth it, and while I was taking my time I seemed to learn a few things

I mainly learned how to make highlights and played more with the lighting. Instead of using gradients, and all those filters I used lighter colors with the burn and dodge tool. I then used those tools to create different and darker shades of colors. I used the color balance still to make the greenish hue and used a different layer to shine the tubes with a large brush and erased some of it to make the lines thinner. I also seemed to actually use the blur tool and create most of the metallic appearance manually instead of a filter. It was a lot of work to not be lazy but I seem to be satisfied though I still need to improve on the wobbly lines.

My best piece of advice atleast for shading is to use darker shades of the colors you use. It takes longer to do but trust me that it'll always look better than burn. Dodge is very effective if used on a VERY light opacity.

Okay I'll try that out though it's going to be hard when I'm so used to the burn tool. Though I'll see if I can make a drawing and be satisfied with using darker shades.
