Updated and deleted the last ref. Just to be clear a species I'm trying to convert my FCs into original, isn't going to be amazing, and super original in the beginning especially when it has a SIMILAR look to the FC species.

Like my characters and how bad they were at first, species develop over time to get better too. Since I placed a lot of info in the new species unlike normally it probably will have something sounding similar in existence.

This ref will constantly be updated with improvements.

Just to make people happy, I changed the antennae, and if someone compares it to looking like something they saw and calling it a ripoff of Irkens. Then I will like to falcon kick you. :/
I rather have some nice constructive criticism to help with improving than assholes coming on here. Especially when I'm defiantly open for some suggestions and tips.

Lots of species were inspired by other species creations. For one you don't see people complaining able Fuzzles from oddworld looking like protopets from ratchet and clank. Both being fuzzy balls of fur, with sharp teeth that will eat anything. Another example is Cryptos race the furons, psychic greys. I don't see anyone pointing fingers at the greys with psychic powers from escape from planet earth, Wreck it Ralph who is based on Donkey kong and Rampage and dear gawd don't get me started on adaptations, and versions of a species!

All these species have similar traits, and this does not mean they're ripoffs.
Yes I used a lot of ideas I got off my head canon, yes HEAD CANON for IZ. My head canon because I'm trying to migrate my IZ fancharacters out of IZ without wasting them.

So only thing I'm really using that is similar to Irkens is the robotic brain, but it's expanded into a deeper story I completely made up, It isn't even close to being IZ. Just maybe SOME concepts. Ideas based on these concepts however are all mine.

Inspiration is not ripping off something. Ripping off is completely copying something practically 80%, not coming up with a single idea of your own. Plenty of ripoff games like that aka shooters with same war story and blah blah blah, and defiantly cartoons not afraid to constantly rip each other off too instead of trying to take a concept and put ideas into it.

So yeah changed the antennae to be thicker, which means I don't have to change crome's design either. The female zenomite I made earlier can just be a early look.
