Description I reccently got my hands on a Halo 3 MC model. I only got a normal map and the model, so I took the normal map to photoshop and did my best, the layer numbers shoot up through the roof into orbit.

I am having a small problem ith the visor, it comes in all crappy for an odd reason....

get it from [link] just click on halo ce maps then scroll down and click 3d models

That is pretty good for not having the diffuse. To me it looks like you messed with the smoothing. Because when I put the whole model the same smoothing I get the same effect. And as for the visor you need to weld the middle vertices, then it will blend together. As for the diffuse I know you are working on it but make more details, as in put some details in between the lines. Or you can just wait till I finish my diffuse. It will be done by the end of the week hopefully.

Yeah keep trying. If you keep trying that is more practice. More practice you can get better at what you do.

I don't know much about 3d model stuff, but it looks like the texture on the visor is getting warped incorrectly around the shape. Maybe play with the visor's texture and redo it custom?

no no, The texture goes riht where its supposed to go, I was just in a hurry to render it was all. I think the polygons are slightly out of line or something
